Ariana Grande #OneLoveManchester Show Raises $9 Million

Published: Sunday 4th Jun 2017 by Sam

Ariana Grande flew the flag for peace, positivity, and perseverance tonight at the ‘One Love Manchester’ concert.

Taking place at the Emirates Old Trafford, the fundraiser was watched by the 50,000 in attendance and millions more across the globe via various TV and online broadcasts.

Throughout the night, which saw acts like Grande, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Pharrell, and Little Mix,  grace the stage – viewers were urged to donate – and they did in earnest.

ABC’s GMA confirms that over $9 million was raised to benefit the Red Cross charity’s fund for the survivors of the terrorist bomb attack and the families of the deceased.

Major kudos to Ariana and her team, as well as all of the artists involved.

The show was a beautiful salute to all affected and a global showcase of strength and solidarity.

Much respect.

I’m immensely proud of her and all the artists who performed. Ariana really showed her worth tonight as not just pop star but a young woman with a lot of heart and compassion. I actually shed a few tears when she sang One Last Time and also when she had that little school girl come out. Kudos to her.

    Credit where it’s due.
Gain a lot of respect for her. She loves to sing and gave a lot of stage time.

    I enjoyed it.
